COST Info Day Held at TSU

On October 2, 2017, a COST Actions info day was organized at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU). The event was held within the framework of International Science and Innovation Festival and it was organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and the COST Association.
The meeting was chaired by Inga Dadeshidze, Science Officer at COST. She briefed the audience on the opportunities provided by COST Actions and the rules of participation in it.
COST is the longest-running European framework supporting trans-national cooperation among researchers, engineers and scholars across Europe. It is a unique means for them to jointly develop their own ideas and new initiatives across all fields in science and technology, including social sciences and humanities, through pan-European networking of nationally funded research activities. It also increases the mobility of researchers across Europe and fosters the establishment of scientific excellence.
