Emerging Young Leader from Georgia

In recognition of the positive role young people play in building sustainable peace, the U.S. Department of State has honored 10 outstanding young leaders from around the world. The recipients were awarded for their efforts to create constructive social change.
One of the winner, Nino Nanitashvili, 23, a graduate from the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences at TSU, is among them. Nanitashvili still continues her activities at the Tbilisi State University. She is the head of the Communications Department at International School of Economics at TSU (ISET).
Nino Nanitashvili is the founder of the first technological group Google Developer Group in Georgia. She has created computer games for Georgian and Abkhazian young people and taken part in organizing over 400 events.
